One of the very useful aspects of FM Global Data Sheets is that they provide a rationale or intent of the requirements - &quot;support for recommendations&quot;.  Understanding the rationale provides one with the ability to correctly apply the intent of the requirements and understand how to solve issues that are not black and white.  This is useful for applying local mandated standards since much of the requirements in the FM Global Data Sheets are similar to national fire codes.</description>

		<description>The other thing about FM Global is that a lot of their publications are free to Fire Departments who register with them.  There are a lot of inspection and safety guides that would be good handouts for your industrial / building safety personnel to use.  As I said, there are some limitations, but you can go get more after a year!</description>
