Jeff Hugo
Jeff Hugo is the Manager of Codes for the National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA). Jeff has held this position since spring of 2007 after being the North-Central Regional Manager for NFSA. Jeff’s primary responsibility is to track, institute, and propose sprinklers in the national codes like ICC and NFPA.
Prior to joining the NFSA, Jeff is a Michigan registered Building Official, Building Inspector, and Plan Reviewer since 1995. During that time, Jeff was the Assistant Director of Building Codes for Tuscola County, MI, Chief Building Official/Administrator for the City of Bay City, and also the Chief Building Official for the City of Frankenmuth.
